Question 1

Which games does this work with?

Accepted Answer

AutoChart.eu creates song folders for YARG (Yet Another Rhythm Game) and Clone Hero, two free games in the style of Rock Band and Guitar Hero. You can play with guitar controllers, e-drums, a microphone or just your keyboard.

Question 2

What do I need to upload?

Accepted Answer

A single audio file of the song, ideally MP3 or FLAC, up to 20 minutes and 200 MB. You don't need anything else: no MIDI files and no game knowledge.

Question 3

How long does a conversion take?

Accepted Answer

Usually between 5 and 30 minutes depending on the song length and the current queue. You can watch the progress live and we'll email you the moment your song is ready. If the queue gets too long, we add more capacity as fast as we can, but in rare cases there may be delays.

Question 4

Am I allowed to upload any song?

Accepted Answer

You may only upload songs you have the rights to use, for example your own music, royalty-free songs or music you have a license for. The converted files are for your personal, non-commercial use only.

Question 5

How good are the charts?

Accepted Answer

The charts are created fully automatically, so we can't guarantee their quality, and they won't always match a hand-made chart. AutoChart.eu works best with rock, pop and metal songs where the charted instruments (drums, guitar, bass and vocals) are clearly audible. Songs without these instruments, such as electronic or orchestral music, usually give weaker results.

Question 6

What happens if a conversion fails?

Accepted Answer

You get your credit back automatically. If it was your first song, you get your free trial back instead.

Question 7

Which languages are supported?

Accepted Answer

Instruments work with songs in any language. Lyrics for the vocals part are recognized in languages written in the Latin alphabet, such as English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Swedish or Turkish, including special letters like ü, ñ or ş, and in Japanese, Korean and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese). Songs that mix languages, like many anime songs, work too. Japanese lyrics are shown in Japanese script; Korean and Chinese lyrics are shown in Latin letters, because YARG can't display all of their characters. Other scripts, such as Russian, Arabic or Thai, are not supported yet, so the vocals part of those songs may be missing.

Question 8

How does inviting friends work?

Accepted Answer

Share your invite link or QR code from the Invite friends page. Friends who haven't bought credits yet get 5 bonus credits with their first Album or Playlist pack, and you get 5 bonus credits 7 days after their purchase. Each person can accept only one invite and has to pay with their own card. If the purchase is refunded or disputed, the bonus is withdrawn.
